About Our ByteDance Team:

The Mobile Intelligence Team is dedicated to enhancing app intelligence and robustness. Specializing in advanced features developed through machine learning and generative AI technologies, we focus on enhancing app performance and security. We're actively seeking engineers passionate about building sophisticated Android or iOS applications to join us.

We're seeking talented individuals for our 2024 internship program. ByteDance internships provide handson experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. Our 12week internship program begins in May/June 2024, with multiple summer cycles available:

•  May 20, 2024 to August 9, 2024
•  May 27, 2024 to August 16, 2024
•  June 10, 2024 to August 30, 2024

Online Assessment:

Candidates passing resume evaluation will be invited to participate in ByteDance's technical online assessment through HackerRank.

Responsibilities:

•  Develop innovative features using machine learning or generative AI technologies.
•  Create privacy and security solutions tailored for mobile products.
•  Conduct experiments with generative AI on mobile products.

Qualifications:

•  Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in computer science or a related technical discipline.
•  Proficient in at least one programming language: Python or Java.
•  Highly motivated to tackle complex engineering challenges in mobile development.
•  Prior experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is advantageous.
•  Previous experience in machine learning is beneficial.
•  Experience in Android development is advantageous.
•  Strong team communication and collaboration skills.

Job Information:

Compensation Description (hourly):

• Hourly rate range for this position in the selected city: $45.
• Fulltime intern medical insurance coverage at 100% premium after 90 days from hire. Medical coverage only; no dental or vision coverage.
