Job Description for Frontend Developer

Job purpose:

• To analyze, understand the client’s business use cases and technical requirements.
• Should be able to build & integrate user interfaces to a varying suite of internal and external services.
  

Duties and responsibilities:

• Proven experience with delivering 3 complex multilingual responsive web applications conception through delivery through completion of warranty and handover to client maintenance teams.
• Has led a team of at least 5 members through the delivery of 1 complex multilingual responsive web application.
• Experience in building Frontend for responsive web applications and cross browser compatible systems.
• Proficient understanding web markup HTML & CSS.
• Experience in CSS preprocessors, such as LESS, SASS or PostCSS.
• Strong command over OOJS and Object Driven development.
• Hands on experience of working with at least 2 JavaScript libraries, such as React, Angular, TypeScript, NodeJs.
• Exposure to frontend build and packaging tools (Webpack, Parcel, Gulp, and Grunt).
• Knowledge on JavaScript Unit Testing Frameworks (Ex. Jest, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine etc).
• Knowledge and understanding of accessibility principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem solving/debugging skills. From figuring out how to best implement a design, to fixing bugs that crop up.
• Experience in source code control with git/svn, APIs, cloud platforms, TDD (test driven development), CI (continuous integration), etc.
• Experience with development tools (Sublime, Visual Studio, WebStrome, Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.).
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (BE, BTech) in Computer Science, or Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
• Excellent spoken, written communication and presentation skills using English as a medium.
  

Working conditions:

• Work requires a lot of interpersonal collaboration and coordination. So excellent communication and interactive skill are a must.
• Must be a good team player.
